If we’re talking just rosters on paper, the one the Phillies have assembled can go toe to toe with anyone in the league, let alone the division. There are holes, as there are with any team, but for the most part - this is a very good team.
The other two contenders in the division are also good, but their questions are a bit more pronounced than the ones facing the Phillies. Will the Braves bounce back from the injury and maladies that plagued their roster? Are the two major players that are coming back, Ronald Acuna and Spence Strider, going to return with the same production right away or will it take some time? Do the Mets have enough starting pitching to make it through the season? Is their bullpen good enough to make end of games a nonissue?
The other two teams in the division - the Nationals and Marlins - are far enough away from contending that they don’t factor into the equation much. Therefore, this will come down to three teams that will jostle for position all year long.

The National League East has gotten better and most definitely will not be “easy”.
We asked you the question about where the Phillies will finish and these were the results:

That is pretty interesting, but it does track with some of what we know.

Can the Phillies repeat their 2024 NL East performance? Fans think so.
